Breasts Stretch Marks and Their Treatment
Breast stretch marks are streaks of skin that occur after excessive stretching of the skin or
due to hormonal changes. Stretch marks are accompanied by a significant reduction of skin elasticity. They appear
mainly on the breasts, abdomen, thighs and buttocks, shoulders and lower back. Initially, stretch marks are
slightly raised and red and then take a whitish appearance. Those most prone to stretch marks are those whose skin
is poor in collagen.
Stretch marks can be caused by: -
Pregnancy: Stretch marks appear below the navel, hips or breasts in the second half of the
pregnancy period
- Significant weight gain
- Puberty
Treatment of stretch marks (There are three main techniques.)
1. Laser therapy
The laser sends a beam of light that turns into heat when it reaches the epidermis. This causes
inflammation and the progressive formation of collagen in the stretch marks. Laser treatment helps with increasing
the firmness of the skin and offers good results when it comes to breasts stretch
marks removal.
Peeling: This treatment method operates mainly in the epidermis and harmonizes
the skin appearance. The combination of the two methods is often necessary in order to get the best results.
2. Abdominoplasty
Tummy tucks can sometimes remove stretch marks contained within the area where there is excess
skin can be removed and stretch marks located in the upper side cannot be removed. The possibilities of action
are limited with stretch marks around the umbilicus.
The intervention improves the situation without completely eliminating the
problem.
3. Stretch Marks Creams
Creams for the treatment of stretch marks are not really effective. They can delay the
appearance of stretch marks by nourishing and hydrating the skin. But if you are prone to having stretch marks,
they will appear anyway. They can reduce the existing stretch marks: the result is highly variable from one person
to another.
Stretch marks and argan oil
Stretch marks are ruptures of the epidermis. Generally, women are victims of this phenomenon.
Indeed, the changes their bodies undergo during certain times in their life predispose them to these lesions of the
skin. Puberty and pregnancy usually cause the biggest problems. This also happens when they follow successive
diets. It should be noted, however, that some women have a predisposition to stretch marks.
These body modifications result in the disruption of the elastic epidermal layers generally
localized on the abdomen, the buttocks and thighs or hips. There are two kinds of reasons to explain the appearance
of breasts stretch marks: too great a stretch of the skin and hormonal changes. They often appear in parallel,
first red at the time of the rupture of the elastic fibers of the skin and then they take an atrophied look.
How to prevent stretch marks
It is possible to prevent stretch marks by massage and the application of creams, moisturizing
at the time of puberty or during pregnancy. The skin is then moisturized and relaxed. The skin is less likely to
"crack" when having to undergo less stretching. Natural argan oil is commonly used by women in order to prevent
stretch marks during puberty or during pregnancy because of the high vitamin E content. The effects of anti-stretch
mark argan oil have been scientifically proven.
How to reduce breasts stretch marks
It is possible to reduce stretch marks once they are installed and even make them disappear in
some cases.
The treatments that have been proven are the following:
- Some medicines based on vitamin A acid, also used in the treatment of acne
- Microabrasion alum crystals with a remarkable effect.
- Tattoos done by dermatologists can recolor the stretch marks and make them less visible.
- Again, natural argan oil has proven effective to reduce stretch marks once they are installed.
